They are the ones who are responsible for passing on wisdom, values, and principles, from generation to generation, to help the youngsters lead a better and more fulfilling life.

Grandfathers

Grandfathers are a special breed
Of kinfolk, all their own.
They love you and hug you,
And spoil you to death.
And then, they send you home.

Grandparents Day Poems

**

Few can bring the warmth
We can find in their embrace,
And little more is needed to bring love.
Than the smile on their face.

They've a supply of precious stories,
Yet they've time to wipe a tear,
Or give us reasons to make us laugh,
They grow more precious through the years.

I believe that God sent us Grandparents
As our legacy from above,
To share the moments of our life,
As extra measures of His love.

A grandfather is someone with silver in his hair and gold in his heart.

If nothing is going well, call your grandmother.

Italian Proverb.

Grandmother
Grandmother you are like a patchwork quilt
So cozy and warm.
Just the smell of coffee
Reminds me of your wisdom and charm.

I know I can always come to you
When lost or alone.
For you always comfort me
And make me feel at home.

You are the silver lining of a cloudy day.
And I know whom can trust
when clouds blow my way.
Grandmother, your hugs and kisses
Will be stored in my heart each day.

Our roots are what give us strength
Example and our wit
So Thank You on this special Day
As beside you we sit.

Photos at this special time
Hold the memories together
Of all of us standing in line
On parchment held forever.
